Immediately after the creation of Terra Nova Ventures in 1999, the Company undertook with a co-developer, the development of Montgomery Park, a $100 million adaptive reuse of the 1.3 million historic Montgomery Ward Catalogue House in Baltimore. In 2000, Terra Nova initiated its involvement in the innovative automated mechanized parking garage company, Robotic Parking Systems, Inc. This activity grew out of Mr. Tufaro's experience with high-density multifamily communities in which parking is always a major issue to be resolved in a way that is most compatible and feasible for the residential development. In April 2007, the company invested in Patagonia Sur, LLC a land investment/ conservation venture in Patagonia, Chile. It is currently pursuing several new housing and mixed-use developments in Baltimore.
